Thailand
Thailand is using restorative justice within their criminal justice system.

Many other countries around the world have also used restorative frameworks for various programs and circumstances, especially to address large-scale historical atrocities. Some have followed the South African example and set up Truth and Reconciliation committees to come to terms with country-wide violence and harm and offer closure and sometimes compensation to victims, for example Chile and El Salvador.
